Did you know that the Art Beat Foundation is partnered with Team Survivor and the Breast Cancer Research Center?
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so we wanted to highlight a few ways the Art Beat Foundation is supporting those currently battling cancer, those who have survived cancer, and their families.
Art Beat Foundation provides our Cancer Survivorship dance and fitness program for people currently undergoing treatment and for those that are now cancer survivors. Through generous donations to the Art Beat Foundation, this program is able to be offered to its participants at no cost. We want to connect this group to others that are currently going through the same struggles to those that have overcome their illness, and to the freedom and healing of movement through fitness and dance. Cancer Survivorship classes are offered online through Zoom and in-person at Art Beat Dance Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
Starting October 27th, our Chairman, Brenna Kuhn, will be offering a series of free weekly 45-minute yoga classes through Team Survivor as a part of Texas Oncology Foundation's Survive and Thrive Virtual Experience.
